Hello all…
What I see that holds back many owners, leaders, managers and sales people is their own self limiting thinking. We all have it and it’s managing those thoughts that’s key.
Here are some tips to help you and those around you.
1. Listen for self-limiting talk around you …
I was working with a client who recently who was saying ” competition is tough… we just can’t compete”… “customers are only shopping price” … “it’s just so hard…” etc, etc, etc.
He believed what he was saying about his world. His own negative talk was programming his mind.
Do you think he wanted to hear that we live in something limitless? A miracle? That he could think and talk differently and his experience of the world would change?
Challenging that kind of negative thinking isn’t easy and as leaders and salespeople… it’s where the work has to begin.
His world is changing as I have gotten him to see the effect of his negative self-talk. Even his presence in front of others was perceived negatively and he had no idea. The energy we project on a sales call and in fact everywhere is the only thing we can control. We cannot control outcomes … that is up to our clients and future clients. Cause and effect, project positive and get positive results. It’s a law… a Universal law. One law for living in a miracle.
Help those around you by lifting their self-image and helping see their own default patterns of self-defeat.
We all have the capacity for limitless thinking and speaking… and the happiest and most successful people discipline their thoughts, words, and actions.
Just think of this from time to time… in the midst of a vacuum, a black void… hurtling through space is our garden planet with all that’s required for life … isn’t that a miracle.
Achieving our goals and selling more doesn’t have to be hard or difficult… we make it hard or easy with our thinking and speaking.
